Recently, giant squid have been documented on camera and photographically.
Photos in 2004 were captured at a depth of almost 3,000 feet in the Pacific. Squid have been spotted in the Pacific, the Caribbean,
and the antarctic. Actual specimens have been found mainly in New Zealand, New Foundland, Tasmania, and Massachusetts.
